I GOT A JOB!!!

God is amazing!!! I feel so blessed!!! God really has done amazing things in my life. I feel that I was able to just relax and give it all to him and somehow he worked it all out in the end! Fred and I are happily married, we have a beautiful home with all the things we need to live, and I got a job!!! I got a part time job at Commerce Elementary School doing EIP for 4th grade! I will work from 10:40-2:40. I mean I am really going to have it made! If only I could figure out what I am suppose to be doing!!:) I just found out I got the job on Wednesday at like 12:15 and he told me to be there by 1:00!! AHHHHHH WHAT 1:00??? Well I was in Hartwell dropping Fred off so I hurried home and got ready and headed to the school. When I got to the school I pretty much wondered around going.....does anybody know where I'm suppose to be???? HAHA!!! I still really don't have a place to go but I'm hoping once school gets started I will just jump right in and get ready to learn what I am doing!! If anybody has any suggestions about how to be a good EIP teacher then please let me know!:) Thanks for all the prayers!!!

Moving into our house/Job Search

Fred and I are finally all moved into the house. This weekend we were finally able to just enjoy being at our house and doing nothing!! We've gotten it all painted and it looks like a totally different house. We closed on the house on Friday so it is officially our house. Fred and I just feel so blessed to have been given so many great things for our house. We have really not had to buy much of anything thanks to our friends and family. I don't think we could have done it without our parents. THey have been so great by helping out with groceries, painting, re-arranging the cabinets so everything would fit, washing dishes, hanging curtains, making curtains, etc. Fred and I are so grateful to have such great parents!!! THANK YA'LL SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!
Job Search.......well! Ihear about a job open at Jefferson in second grade (if I got the job I would be teaching with Kayla) so I go and interview there and it all went really well. I find out today if I got the job or not. Also, today I had someone call me from West Jackson Primary and say that they have a part-time EIP joo available and asked if I would like to come in and interview! I SAID SURE!!! So hopefully God is going to work everything out and I will be making SOME money! Also, there were two jobs open at Commerce and they hired within for one of the jobs and they hired a girl from Buford for the other job. So just please pray that everything works out and I will find a job soon! Hope everyone is doing good!

Married life

Fred and I are finally married and are getting ready to move in our new house! We are loving being married even though we are still in Mama and Daddy's house. I think we will definitely feel like we are more married and on our own when we have to start paying bills and fixing supper by ourselves. WE are exicted to be getting into our house soon.
Everything went great at the wedding! I have the best family and friends and I am very lucky to have had so much help with the wedding. Everything was just absolutely beautiful. My aunt's are so talented and they did such a great job with all the decorations and food(Well I guess it was good...I didn't get any of it:))! My cake was defintely one of my favorite things! It was exactly what I wanted!! I had such a great time all day with my family and friends. Fred and I were talking about how much fun it is to have your two families come together for a weekend and meet each other. I will post pictures soon!
Thanks to everyone who helped out with the wedding and made it so special! Love ya'll!

Bachelorette Party and Bridesmaids Luncheon

Saturday was such a fun day. First, I had my bridesmaids luncheon in Maysville. Then, I went to ATL with all my lovely girls for my bachelorette party. We had so much fun at both. Lunch was great and it was fun to get to talk and spend time with all the people I love most! When I got to Buckhead for my Bachelorette Party Kayla, April, Deanna, and Megan had already decorated the room in all Bachelorette stuff! I absolutely loved it...everything was so cute. We played a few games and got ready then went out to dinner in downtown Buckhead. They had me all kinds of fun stuff to wear....I wore a crown that said Bride To Be, a vail, a sash that said Bachelorette and I had a Boa but Megan was in charge of it so I let here wear it!!:) After dinner we went to midtown and went to a place called Opera. We had such an amazing time at Opera, we danced til we just absolutely could not dance anymore!!! I mean literally we decided it was time to go when all of us were like moving in slow motion on the dance floor. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has made my wedding so special! I am so blessed to have such great friends and family!! I love all of you!!

9 MORE DAYS!!!

I am getting so darn excited! We have 9 more days until our big wedding day and I just can't wait. We have been engaged for almost two years, like one year and 9 months to be exact, so we have been waiting that long to be married and now it is here. Fred and I have just been so blessed with meeting each other. I just feel like the good Lord knew that we were perfect together. We have so much fun together and he is my best friend. I am just so lucky to have found a great guy like Fred! We have everything together and ready to go. I am taking the programs to get printed today. Fred and I still haven't heard back from the house people which is very very frustrating but we are just going to be patient because we are getting a really great deal on a pretty nice house in a great neighborhood. So what more could you ask for?? The only problem is that we are going to have to come home from our honeymoon and live with my mama and daddy which isn't the most ideal situation but we will survive!:) I am just so ready to get into our house and paint everything the way I want it and put all of our stuff in and start using it and feel like a real married couple! HAHA!! Just keep us in your prayers during the next week, especially Fred because he is really nervous about the wedding day!:) I am just excited! Hope everyone is great! I LOVE YA'LL!

Sorry so long!

Things have been busy and absolutely crazy! I have had something every weekend but it has been fun! I am just really exhausted!:) I am doing a long term sub position right now so I am busy busy busy during the week and on the weekend. We only have 23 more days and I am so super excited! I talked to the realtor today and she said that the offer is in the final stage (whatever that means) so we should be hearing in the next couple of days about the house. We are probably going to have to just live with mama and daddy for a little while until we can close on the house. I think that Kim said it would probably take about 30 days to close. So maybe it will all be ready when we get back....WHO KNOWS??? I got so tickled the other day when I was doing the program because at the bottom it said Our new address and I just put GOD ONLY KNOWS!!!!:) But that is the truth God is in control! Thanks for all your prayers and support! Things are going pretty good!! Love all of you!!

PICTURES FROM OUR SHOWERS!!

Showers, Showers, Showers...so much fun!!

I am sorry it has been so long since I have written a post but I have just been super busy with student teaching coming to an end and everything. Fred and I had two showers two weekends ago. On Saturday, March 21, we had a "Honey-Do" Shower and Fred got lots of things to help out around the house like tools and stuff. We really got tickled because Fred was opening half the things and didn't know what they were and he was having to tell his mom so that she could write it down. It was so funny, I'm like Fred those are pliers!!:) Needless to say if Fred uses the tools then hopefully there is some sort of manual that comes with them. On Sunday, March 22 I had a bridal shower at Kelly Lacey's house in Commerce. It was a really nice shower and I got lots of great things. Mrs. Kelly's house is just absolutely beautiful and they had everything set up so pretty. The gifts were unwrapped so the guests just brought in the gifts and set them on the table and then I would walk around and look at them and have Kayla to write everything down. I really liked that better because everyone wasn't just sitting around staring at you:) We got to socialize a lot which I love of course!

Things are really going well we are just getting down to the wire. We only have 2 more months!! That is just so crazy but exciting! We have found a house that we love and we are making an offer on it as soon as the man that owns the house gets back from his honeymoon. I just pray that all of this works out. Now I just need a J-O-B!!! HOpe everyone is doing great! LOVE YOU ALL!!

Kitchen Shower

Fred and I had a kitchen shower in Hartwell on February 21st. It was so much fun and we got lots of great things to put in our "make believe" kitchen. If we only had a real kitchen we would be good to go!!:) We will some day...let's just pray it is before we get married!! But we really had a great time and the hostesses really did a great job with the food and decorations. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE WONDERFUL HOSTESSES! I'm posting some pictures of the shower and I got to looking at them and Fred and I did not pose for one picture together and it was our first shower together. We have really got to do better next time! (We actually took one picture but we are sitting on the couch..no a very posed picture). I hope everyone is doing great! Sorry it has been so long since I posted last, I am just super busy with school and wedding stuff. THREE MORE MONTHS!!!!:) I love all of you!!

I LOVE.....

1. God-for being so very amazing and blessing me with such great things in life!
2.Family-because I really don't know what I would do without them. My mama and daddy do so much for all three of us and never ask for anything in return. My sister is amazing and I strive to be more like her every day. My brother is the best man I know and I pray that he finds a great girl! My aunts, uncles, and cousins for always supporting me and being there for everything.
3. Fred-for being my rock for the past three years. He is so amazing and I know that God had him picked out for me from the very beginning of my life. He is the most perfect person for me and I am so thankful to have him! I can't wait for us to start a family together! (just as soon as we move out of our card board box we are going to be living in:))
4. Friends-for being the greatest friends any girl could ever ask for. For always being here for me when I need them. I have had many friendships over the years and I am so thankful for every single one of them. I may not get to see all of my friends like I want to but they are still dear to me heart and I still love them so very much today and everyday!
5. Papa and Nanny-because they always love me no matter what! My nanny was one of the strongest women I know and I pray that I can be half as strong as she was and raise a great family! My Papa for taking on all the responsibilities of being MY ONLY PAPA and never caring that he wasn't "my real papa"!
6. My in-laws-for raising the man that brightens up my life. For supporting Fred and I in everything we do. Eric and Jen for being such great role models for Fred and I.
7. My nephews and soon to be neice-for being you!! Hudson, I love how grown up you are, the great big hugs you give me when I walk in the door, to hear you say Aunt Bevo, and when you get so excited about coming to Commerce! Walker, for the great big blue hugs that you give when I walk in the door, that you want Aunt Bevo to come over and play with you, that you like to do everything like Hudson! Cooper, that great big smile of yours and those fat little checks, that Fred always wants to give you a kiss, that you like for me to hold you! Baby Neice Dudish-I love that you are coming in to our family, that we get to spoil a little girl now, and I know I'm going to love when you say Aunt Bevo or reach out for me to hold you!

I LOVE ALL OF YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT BIG PART OF MY LIFE!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

GACE

I didn't pass the GACE and it is just very discouraging!! I really wanted to pass it and be done with it so I could at least mark one thing of my list to worry about! I am just really stressed out with all that is going on right now. I really don't have time to add studying for the GACE every night on my list but I guess I'm going to have to. Piedmont College advised us not to take the GACE until we were finished with all of our methods classes...well that was stupid advice becasue I should have been taking it a long time ago so that I wouldn't have to be worried about that now. I just really need everyone to pray for me that God will give me patience and peace about everything that is going on right now. Pray that this next time I take this GACE I will pass it with flying colors or just PASS IT!!!:)

On the other hand, something actually about Fred and I. We are looking for a house in Commerce and praying that everything works out and we get one in a good neighborhood that we like and that would be great for our dogs and to one day start a family in. I just pray that one thing in my life would be for sure....it is just very stressful that everything that is coming up in the next year is so uncertain......like where I'm going to teach and where we are going to live (and those are TWO MAJOR THINGS)!! But I know that God has a plan for us and I just really need to learn to trust in him and not let this stuff get to me!

KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS!! I LOVE YA'LL!!

TIRED! TIRED! TIRED!

I AM SO TIRED!!:) I just feel like I can not get enough sleep. This student teaching stuff is just wearing me out...LOL!! There is just not enouogh time in the day for me to get everything done that I need to. I come straight home from school and get to work on school stuff and don't get done til 9:00 and still don't feel like I have finished everything. I just think I am crazy for trying to plan a wedding and student teach at the same time!!! AHHHHH!!!:) I am just really stressed out right now with everything going on..I think it will be better once I can get these classes over that go along with the student teaching. Also if anyone has any ideas for stuff I can do for morning work for 1st grade...I would greatly appreciate it!!

I am also having an issue with my cake for the wedding. I really want this certain cake (it is in the movie Because I Said SO...its the one at the very end of the movie that falls on that guy) and the lady that we have doing it(she is Fred's mamas best friend) can't do it the way thatI want it. What do I do??? Tell her that I want to go to somebody else because she can't do it how I want it or just get a cake that I'm not going to like?? I am just really torn because it is Fred's mamas friend and we have already met with her about the cake and I didn't say anything I just went along with getting the cake that I don't want!

OH DID I MENTION THAT THE CAKE IS $634.00!! More than my wedding dress!!
I really need some advice and yall are the best people to give it!!

MISS YOU ALL AND LOVE YOU LOTS!!!
Keep me in your prayers!

Girls Day Out!!

I just wanted to tell everyone that I had so much fun with ya'll on Saturday! I am so glad that everyone was able to make it!! I am so excited and blessed that all of you are sharing in this wonderful experience with me. I hope that everyone else enjoyed themselves. I also hope that ya'll liked the dresses, the shoes, and that the price wasn't too high. I tried to pick out something cute but cheap. I wish that the shoes wouldn't have been so expensive but I was afraid to get dyeable shoes somewhere else and then the shoes not match the dress perfectly. I can't wait for all the upcoming showers and events!!

Fred and I went to the post office yesterday and got our passports!!! I am SOOOO excited about our honeymoon! If I haven't told you...we are going to the Dominican Republic!! We are staying in a brand new resort that just opened up this month and there is a juccuzzi in the floor right in front of our bed and huge windows that look out onto the beach. It is an all inclusive trip and that is the most exciting part because lord knows Fred and I aren't going to have money to spend. LOL!

Also, if anyone hears of a house for sale in Commerce that is in a good neighborhood and is relatively cheap let me know! Fred and I are wanting to buy a house but we have to find one first!

Thank ya'll again for being such great friends and family!! I LOVE ALL OF YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!

Student Teaching

This post doesn't really have anything to do about the wedding but I wanted to update everybody on my wonderful student teaching experience so far. I am at Commerce Primary in 1st grade with Pam Adams and I am absolutely loving it so far. It is very tiring though......I have only been there for two days and I am exhausted!!:) I am not used to getting up early...LOL!! I told Daddy before it was all over I was going to end up going to bed at 8:00 every night!(When I do, Bugg you can make fun of me like I used to do you:)) But the students in the class are great. They like to talk so sometimes that can be a problem but they are really smart and love to participate in class lessons. Mrs. Adams does a lot of small groups throughout the day and I really like that. She is constantly doing something so I am never just sitting there getting bored. I LOVE IT! I hope everyone else is doing great and I can't wait to see ya'll on Saturday! I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!

Bridesmaid Dresses

To all of my lovely bridesmaids. We have an appointment at David's Bridal at 1:00 on January the 17th (that is next Saturday). I was thinking that we could go eat at Five Points Deli (which is right beside Davids Bridal) at 12:00 and then head over to David's Bridal when we are done. If you don't want to meet to eat that is fine we will see you at 1:00. Also if you are leaving from Commerce and you want to ride with me then you are more than welcome to meet at my house at like 11:30. Also I found out that because I got my dress at David's Bridal then ya'll will be able to get $20.00 off anything in the store. So either the shoes or the dress which is great! I hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait to see ya'll on Saturday. Let me know if you can't make it! I AM SO EXCITED! I LOVE YA'LL!!

Invitations

Today my mama and I went to Commerce Printing and ordered our invitations and our napkins. We are ordering 425 invitations so we are definetly have a HUGE wedding. When we left my mama kind of started freaking out about how many people we were inviting but I assured her that everything would be fine. God Bless her she is going to drive me CRAZY before this is all over. But I love her for being here for me and helping me even if it means going crazy:) Here is a picture of our invitations the only difference is that our invitations will be written in black and they will have a different font. The inside flap of the envelope is also going to be black. They are very plain but cute. Our napkins are just the beverage size napkins and they are going to be black as well....We are putting a big M in the center of the napkin and under that it will say Beverly and Jared and under that we will have the wedding date, June 6, 2009. It is really starting to come together! I am very excited!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year!! This year is going to be such a great year. I have so much to look forward to in this upcoming year. First I'm going to be student teaching at Commerce with a great teacher, then I will be getting MARRIED, and I will begin my career (hopefully at Commerce but who knows). I am just so excited about the year 2009!

Fred sent me a text message this morning and said, "Baby, we can finally say we're getting married this year!" We are just so excited about being husband and wife and we are blessed to have so many great people be a part of our wedding!
This picture is Fred and I last night eating at Carrabas with a few of our friends and my brother!
We wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope this year brings you lots of joy!
